The Essence of Me.
If you're going to put in the time to read this blog, you may want to know a little more about me. Who is the real Alesha? Allow me to make a quick introduction (in the way a college student keeping a blog primarily for a business writing class might do).
1. I'm the youngest of eleven & an aunt of eighteen, which makes me pretty unique, supposedly.
2. I can pick a lock (depending on the type).
3. I really like peanut butter. With just about everything - carrots included.
4. I wouldn't say I'm the 'rebel type' but I do like Fall Out Boy. Quite a lot.
5. When my Dad replaced my hole-ridden CamelBak, it excited me to the point of using it at home.
6. But I've also used it in much cooler places (see below).
8. Speaking of favorites, I don't have a favorite color. Choosing one would be mean?
9. My roommates and I watch "Company is Coming" on YouTube on the daily.
10. "If Boy Roommates Acted Like Girl Roommates" is also one of our YouTube haunts.
11. Each Christmas Eve, my bff and I go on a run affectionately known as the Christmas Cat Run.
12. I once described my appearance as a "homeless homo sapien" during finals week.
13. There's a band of pigeons squatting in my apartment roof. #freeloaders
14. I'm not a good dancer, but kitchen dance parties are my jam.
15. I have pine nuts in my freezer.
16. My ears are almost always adorned with pearl earrings (fake variety because college student).
17. Scratch no. 7, 17 is my favorite number.
18. I'm a Sophomore at Brigham Young University studying business.
19. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
20. I'll stop here because I'm 20 & I fear we're teetering on the edge of 'too many facts'.
