With Them, Everyday Is Christmas
Excuse the overly cheesy title but it caught your attention, correct? Living with these girls is a complete blast with each day being extraordinarily notable. But as with all things, some days are more special than others - like the days whereon we literally celebrate Christmas. Complete with presents, music, lights, special pajamas and crepes, we held Christmas last Sunday morning. For those of you who may be a little behind, that was the 10th day of January - making our festivities over two weeks late. Regardless, we went all out.
(Evidence of previous statement).
Although this may seem over the top to some, parties are the norm in our little apartment. We are always looking for an excuse to celebrate - whether it be acing a test, liking our outfits, talking to a cute boy or winning a pirate ship at fhe. We are not want of a good time and Christmas is a time to magnify that. It was tempting to throw our funny/thoughtful/sweet/useful (choose whichever explanation you fancy) gifts at each other while we ran around like chickens with their heads cut off during finals week. I am glad that we didn't go this route. Thankfully, these girls understand that sometimes the ordinary has to be turned into something special and we deserve to consistently have a good time - even in the busy world of college, far, far away from our homes. So, Merry Christmas a few weeks late. May all your days be merry and filled with opportunities to celebrate life.
As Always,
Alesha
